The Montgomery 15 is not a scaled down 17. It was designed from the ground up by Jerry Montgomery. (designed by Jerry Montgomery------designed by Lyle C. Hess) Just to keep the story straight. Many people wrongly assume Lyle designed Jerry's M_15. BTW I have another new M_17 in stock, this one has the standard windows and will be finished in a few days. (some options can be added) These are 2005 model boats. We spent the summer and fall building a BUNCH of M_17s with the round bronze ports. The next round bronze ported M_17 is going to Texas. Name is SOPHIE ROSE, for Jim and Sylvia. Also have another new M_15 that will be finished shortly. This boat has a GREEN hull. The next M_15 is going to Gilbert, Arizona. (Ivory hull) for Jim and Diane. These are 2005 model boats. Also just finished an all GREEN hulled Montgomery 7-11, rowing model. (I did install the mast teak support cross member for future sailing options, the seats are also green; how do you say ivory in spanish??. She looks neat with the teakwood on her interior.) Also have a new IVORY hulled Montgomery 7-11 rowing model in stock. (this also has the teak cross member for future sailing options) Also have two new Montgomery 6-8 rowing prams in stock. Both have dual oarlocks for rowing from either position. (both Ivory) We did sell the M_23 (green hulled as well) that we were molding. Installing ballast and interior now.
