Hi Danelle, We're in Glastonbury, CT, which is just about 20 minutes south-east of Hartford, CT (Hartford, CT is about midway between New York and Boston) We're just south of the intersection of I-84 E and I-91N. Advancing age, and not being able to still dance on the head of a pin, caused us to sell our beloved M15 two years ago. I'm now down to a Shellback dinghy (sail and oars), but even that is becoming too much for me. It's time to swallow the anchor! Connie Danelle Landis wrote:
It is beautiful here - when we're not being assaulted by the sideways rain so famous in southeast AK! To get up to nearly 200 inches annually, the rain has to be very, very ambitious. I do love all the wilderness, water and islands. My other hobby, K9 search and rescue, takes advantage of all the wilderness too.
I look forward to seeing an M15 in person sometime - maybe even sailing on one! A 23 too! When I finally get off this island...
I think our whole family will be traveling to New Hampshire this spring, so we'll get to see the right coast. I've never been east of Montana! (except for a layover in NY on my way to Scotland back in 1985) Where are you located?

Hi Danelle,
Great photos. Thanks for introducing us "Right Coasters" to the beauties of Alaska sailing.
I'm envious..... not having our M15 anymore.
Connie
