Thanks Skipper You are right. I need to do some math to see how much the centerboards weigh. Do you know how much the original CB weighs? Where can I get a new original CB? Guys: The M-15 doesn't have a centerboard winch or a place to mount one. 1/4" SS plate weighs 10 lbs per sq ft and 1/2" weighs 20 lbs/ sq ft. Think about how you would lift and HOLD the board up. There also isn't a stop pin on and M15 althought you could probably modify the trunck and board to make one like the M17 board. I'm just as happy with the fiberglass board.
