I've visited the Pett website, seen the pics and video, considered all opinions. For my purposes--mostly day sailing, sometimes longer days, and occasional overnights--the Pett is the Bomb..seems to fit the bill perfectly. Most days, when I'm out on a local lake for maybe 3 hours, It will never get used, so I wouldn't expect to go through bags very quickly. Also nice 'n light to carry ashore for remote boat-in shore camping if there are no facilities. As for the trying out with a bucket and just the bags--that will flunk the WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor) test. I'm sold and plan to order one. Just waiting for an answer if someone knows if it will sit assembled (3 legs down) in the well in sole of the M15 and still be low-enough profile with the lid down for clearance under the plywood cover that supports the cushion above it. Looks like it will... Thank goodness for this forum for helping me avoid a -ahem- crappy $100 mistake Neil
