I am redoing my Flicka trailer (yikes!--a lot more work than the M15 trailer), and am curious if anyone has found a paint/coating that holds up well. The trailer will not be immersed in salt water (will load/unload via Travel-Lift), so my primary concern is chipping and UV exposure. My inclination is to use an epoxy primer such as Petit's 'Steel Lock' followed by a couple of coats of two-part polyurethane. Has anyone tried this approach. Galvanizing, while preferable, is not going to happen this round. Thanks, Scott M15 #478 'bebe' 1990 Flicka (unnamed)
