Thanks Blair. Actually I just finished making my own today and seems it actually might work quite well. I have a 4 stroke Honda 2hp so not a lot of weight. Was fun to make but it won’t win any marine design awards. Just used a two foot long 2x10 and using 2 U bolts attached it to the trailer upright. Stained it and then coated it with spar varnish. Looks great from a few feet away and carries the Honda just fine. Nice one day project.
