M_Boats: Hollow roach main sail

Are any M-boaters sailing with a hollow roach main with no battens? Is so, do you like the results? Any discernable performance difference from a battened main, with some positive roach? I like the idea of no battens to contend with. Thanks. Bill Wickett Makin' Time M17 #622
