Has anyone painted their hull, if so can you tell me anything about the problems involved.

My boat came from the previous owner with the hull painted to within a few inches of the waterline

(topsides) & I need to finish it.

The waterline stripe & bottom need to be painted.

Any ideas or suggestions (particularly about masking the waterline) are appreciated.

I plan to trailer the boat, still I'm not sure if there is a antifouling paint that would stand up

to trailering, or whether I should just use the same type paint as used on the top.

My only option for applying pain is with a brush.
