Harken lists a small boat windward sheeting traveler and an adapter, both of which look pretty much the same. Do you need both, and if not, what's the difference?

I should specify, you don't need to release the off side cleat manually
when drawing the car to windward. It does that automatically. Only when
you want to lower that track from the high side do you need to release it
manually.
