Steve, mine is an 82 model and the lockers are only several inches deep but are completely sealed. The area below the cockpit is not accessible. There are structural supports and a couple of large blocks of foam back there. I would be hard-pressed to even get beyond my arm reaching back into the space. But it sounds like newer models are different. -----Original Message----- From: montgomery_boats-admin@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:montgomery_boats-admin@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Steve Drakesmith Sent: Tuesday, January 15, 2002 5:21 PM To: Montgomery_Boats@Mailman. Are they water tight ?? Could they be made into additional berths -- similar to the berths in a Com-Pac except smaller -- like for kids ?? I like the boat but have never seen one up close Thanks Steve _______________________________________________ http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/montgomery_boats
