That's why unfinished glass boat interior areas show/feel the weave - filling the weave is for appearance and/or necessary surface smoothness, doesn't add significant strength.

The centerboard splashing fix is holding solid by the way. I dread changing the pennant one day though. Will require Drexel and a redo. But the clay like epoxy is super easy.
