Nick, Are you handy with a Dremel and reinforced cut-off wheels?
If you feel comfortable I can send you pictures of how I put my outhaul in my boom. It is VERY handy and easy to operate once it is done - a bit harder (little) and a bit more expensive as you need to use thru deck exit blocks (two of them) but not hard and really easy to operate once installed.
If you are up for it, I will take pictures and can send them.
