RE: M_Boats: dry portable toilet--boom box

We've used a boom box on river trips for many years. This device is good because it addressed Doug's concerned about smell and leak. The porta-potties on M-boats are a good idea, and a compelling feature, and they look good mounted in their thoughtfully designed places, but they are a real PITA to maintain. See the boom box here: www.eco-safe.net As I said, it works great on rivers, but it has to be set up and broken down for use. Not so hot for m-boating I think... The key to any alternative shitter is WAG bags. Because they are bio-degradable, they can be legally disposed of in garbage cans and dumpsters (I'm not sure about vault toilets--I'll have to research that). tom
