M_Boats: outboard tiller

When I aquired my boat it came with a 4hp mariner on the original fixed motor mount. I have found that when motoring I have to reach back a ways to hold the tiller which feels rather ackward (compared to the little fishing boats that I grew up with). Do any of you use an extension on your outboard tiller? Should I stop whining and just get used to it? Here's hoping for an early ice-out! Dale Williams Staples, MN M-15 #185 "Sophie Mae"
