Today for the first time I disassembled and oiled Busca's Lewmar #6 winches. They were simpler than I expected: http://www.bright.net/~htmills/Lewmar6-01.jpg http://www.bright.net/~htmills/Lewmar6-02.jpg http://www.bright.net/~htmills/Lewmar6-03.jpg http://www.bright.net/~htmills/Lewmar6-04.jpg http://www.bright.net/~htmills/Lewmar6-05.jpg http://www.bright.net/~htmills/Lewmar6-06.jpg http://www.bright.net/~htmills/Lewmar6-07.jpg http://www.bright.net/~htmills/Lewmar6-08.jpg http://www.bright.net/~htmills/Lewmar6-09.jpg http://www.bright.net/~htmills/Lewmar6-10.jpg http://www.bright.net/~htmills/Lewmar6-11.jpg This re-wiring business is taking longer than I was hoping: spent 4 hours today doing nothing but wiring the masthead light (removing the old tri-color wiring and swim noodles, fishing the new wire through) and naturally the old thru-deck plug disintegrated when I disassembled it so I have to get a new one. Tomorrow I mock up the boom tent for the canvas guy and depending on how much time is left, wire up the fishfinder, etc... Is it sailing season yet? :o) Tod
