Steve-- I was on several of the trips that you mentioned. On the 5-6 cruises that I made we had between 2 and 6 boats for trips of 3-4 days. W e even did a trip to Great South Bay on Long Island while some NY sailors came to the Chesapeake cruises. The last cruise I joined was out of Reedsville but it was sparsely attended. Doug (Seas the Day), who organized the cruises, moved to AZ. After he moved we organized a 3 day cruise on the James River but only had 2 boats. A follow-up cruise the next year in North Carolina had 3 boats. I would be interested in trips on the southern part of the Bay which would keep my trailering time to about 5 hours. Where are you located? Mike On Sun, Sep 1, 2013 at 2:47 PM, Steve Lindeman <lindeman.steven@gmail.com>wrote:
I have read some older posts about Chesapeake Bay Montgomery owner get togethers. Do these events still exist? As a new M15 owner, I am interested in sailing with other local Montgomery sailors. I am able to travel to any location around the bay. I would also be willing to organize an event next year if others are interested.
