Doug- Unless they are kinked they're pretty easy to straighten. Two fat guys and a padded sawhorse will do it most of the time. Good luck. ________________________________ From: Douglas Vogel via montgomery_boats <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Sunday, April 2, 2023 8:46 PM To: montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Cc: Douglas Vogel <shadowmtlighting@icloud.com> Subject: M_Boats: Looking for a Mast for a Montgomery 17 Hello Montgomery Listers, I had a crazy snow year here in Wyoming. Still 5β of snow in my yard and field. I usually keep my boat in a barn, This year a construction project put it out in my field. I shoveled my boat once in January. I should have shoveled it once a month, but got consumed with my roofs and endless driveway needs. So I ended up with a bent mast. Itβs about 5β out of straight. Hopefully I can find a used mast within 1000 miles of Western Wyoming. Maybe someone or several M-listers have a process for straightening a bent mast. Please send me your suggestions. Thanks all and hopefully the 5β of snow in my field will melt by June ??? Doug Vogel C: 307-730-2971
