One of my bright ideas that I never got around to doing was to establish a Wi-Fi network at Marinas. The locations would be published on places like this. Pull in, fire up the laptop and you have high speed Internet. But I could never figure out how to make a buck off it. If you did subscriptions, the network would have to be password protected, but subscribers could give that out to anybody. If it was an open network, well.....it's just open. Like they do at coffee houses. Any marina could do that....and I'd think the smarts ones already have. It would attract customers like light bulbs attract bugs.
