Having sailed an M15 for several years, I'm aware of how the original kickup rudder works. As it recall, it's either up or down--not much in between. I don't know if Bob changed the design in later years, so my comment relates to only the Jerry-built boats. On the other hand, the Idarudder is infinately tunable using a line and cleat (on my version, which is an early model). It looks like they build a rudder (ruddercraft) for the M15 which can be tuned. t
