Hey Bones, Yeah, I have the system with the winch in the cockpit locker. Yeas, you can carefully lower the board after removing the stop pin...the problem is ...I have to get the boat off the trailer to do it as the trailer frame is not going to allow the board to extend far enough..So I either have to float it or hoist it. S
