M_Boats: Hull Numbers

Jerry, I recently bought a used M-17, a quite nice little yacht. I hear M boats identified by their Hull #. I can not find any place on my 17 that id's the Hull #, however I do find a # on the transom "MMP 172650877", can I get the Hull # from this #? I have spent the last 2 months with the boat "on the hard" getting it ready for the sailing season. I am impressed with the construction, keep up the good work. Kind Regards..Arnold Sharpe
