When I first talked to Kern about my sails in 1999, he said he wasn't able to get quality tanbark at a reasonable price. But by the time I placed the order, he had a line on some from Europe, the Netherlands or Denmark, I think. The premium was only about 10% over white, so I went for it. That storm looked like it meant business. Like the tqanbark sails and would like to have one for my ComPac SunCat, but was told by Airforce sails (Sailnet) that they could not get quality tanbark fabric. Anyone with a sailmaker and/or fabric source?
