M_Boats: M-boats: tongue weight/towing

Hi Joe, Thanks for the comments. Now I do have to go home and weigh that landing gear. I have heard of the 10% before but just didn't apply it here. I need the boat forward on the trailer about 1 - 11/2". I'm sure that will be easier to achieve with the trailer farther into the water, when the tongue extension is finished :-). At this point I am backing down until the water is just at the tailpipe level. Don't think I want to go back any farther. With the tongue extension comes a spare tire mount and tire. Maybe that with the boat forward will make up my 140 pounds. I like that idea better than trying to shake it all into place in the parking lot. Harvey H M-15 #348 Pelican Walla Walla, WA
