Be careful using a conduit bender. Typically, electric conduit is a little different than the tubing you would use for your bimini. The electric conduit is designed to be bent. I don't know if it is because it is a softer metal or what, but if you plan to use a bender experiment first with the tubing you plan to use to see whether or not it will kink. If it does then get about 2 feet of 3/4" OD spring coil to insert in the tube at the bend. Slather it up with conduit grease and make sure you have a good way to pull out the spring after you make your bend. Another old trick is to fill the tube with mud and let it dry out. Then bend it. Jim,
If you are thinking of doing it yourself with a conduit bender, may I suggest buying some cheap conduit and practice first. You can build the bimini out of conduit very cheaply to get the exact measurements and bends, before you 'commit' yourself and you wallet with stainless. Just my .03 cents worth. (inflation)

Capt Jim: ou could buy or rent a conduit bender for electrical conduit and bend it ourself. Hardware stores carry them. --Gary Hyde 005 M17 #637 sailboat 'Hydeaway 2'
