Stop me if I'm on the wrong track here Jay, but my assumption is you are talking about a cast cb in an older model M17. That's what my response is predicated upon... The cb tang landing is near the bottom of the cb trunk, just aft of the cb slot. The cb tang is at the top of the arc and contacts the landing pin. I don't think you need to remove the rear pin to remove the cb, however. Remove the pivot pin and raise the cb up so the tang is moved forward and can be lowered without hitting the landing. Of course the boat will have to be raised up and the trunk and cb accessible for this to work... If you are talking about the glass cb, the above does not apply. I am removing the CB from my M17. Does anyone know the approximate location of the stop pin in the trunk? Is it a pin held in place as is the pivot pin? Thanks for any info. Jay
