Well after whacking the crap out of my temples for the umpteenth time on those dogs that are used to tighten up the round port lights, I managed a solution. I slit a tennis ball just big enough to slip over the dog and ....voila! OK, lime green tennis balls inside the cabing does a little to take away the alure, but if you pass out from pain......... This got me to thinking about another anoyance (not nearly as painful). I've been wiring a masthead/deck light and my coax cable for the VFH antenna all of which run down the inside of the mast. I've heard quite a bit about the annoying sound they can make at anchor. So I'm thinking about running them throug a series of tennis balls maybe every two feel up through the mast. Any thoughts??
