To get the whole story, it appears I'll need one more book, as it states to refer to 002-550 Fiberglass Boat Repair & Maintenance. I'll pick it up today and see what it says. I'll probably get plenty of adheasion anyway, as I plan to grind into the surrounding gelcoat so as to be able to feather the repair. I'll let you know what I find, Bill
