Geoff Prindle and I did it in my Sage two years ago. You need a spinnaker. I just gave mine to Dave Scobie to use on a Sage 15 or I'd let you use it. it's a fun but not a good race in a non-planing boat; it's all downwind in 20-30 knots and there's no way you can save your time when the competition is planing. Good luck. The cruiser challenge in Monterey is this sat if interested. -----Original Message----- From: casioqv@usermail.com Sent: Monday, July 17, 2017 2:38 PM To: montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com Subject: M_Boats: 2017 Dinghy Delta Ditch race in Sacramento Aug 5th Hi all, I will be doing this race in my M15, and it would be great if other Montgomery people wanted to participate also. It's a 30 mile race in the California Delta near Sacramento California. The deadline to register is Saturday July 29th, and it costs $50. http://lwsailing.org/events/ddd2017.shtml Sincerely, Tyler Backman
