Doug, If you are running the upper end through a tight grommet and configuring a slight downward loop in the wire (to allow rain to drip off outside rather than running down the wire inside the mast) I see no use for a strain relief. Hanging through the grommet is plenty of relief - it isn't as if you are stringing the wire between two poles and the wire isn't so heavy it will tear loose. Plus, if you are snugging the wires inside the mast to keep them from slapping, that would be more relief. My 2 cent's worth Stan
