I'd be interested in this also, and October would be great. My M15 still needs a lot of work before my first sail, but it should be ready by then. I'm hoping/planning to do some long Sea of Cortez trips. June or October, with a slight preference for October. I'd go to the midriff area, probably launching either at Bahia De Los Angeles on the Baja Side and island hopping across, or the other way around, launching at Kino Bay. I've done this area several times but not for about 20 or 25 years and really enjoyed it and it's time I did it again before I get too old. No marinas, no gas stops, no nothing, but I always caught enough fish to feed an army. Usually light air but nobody but an idiot would go w/o a storm jib, need good ground tackle, lots of gas, water and sunscreen. A group of 6 or 8 would be perfect. jerry
