Thanks, Bill, and good to hear from you. I think it was you towing us out to a race at Lake Havasu with your Honda when our Tohatsu was having problems is what convinced me to get a Honda. At one point I realized me turning the motor upside down to empty fuel out of the tank was the problem that led to the oil on the bottom of the motor but, when I stopped doing that, I realized that actually wasn't the (only problem) because the leaking oil continued. Next, I realized I store the motor on its side (the correct side with the "resting pads" down) and maybe that was the problem. But, when I started storing it upright (but still transporting it on its side), the problem persisted. Also, on long trips it is pretty clear the oil keeps on coming and is related to operation rather than something happens when it is not being used. I am pretty sure it is leaking oil from somewhere. The question is where under all of that housing is the oil coming out and it is something I can diagnose and repair myself...
