Bear in mind that there isn't enough headroom to sit up inside. With a filler between the bunks there is plenty of area, but if you feel the need to move around a lot it feels like sharing a phone booth with a whale. A good cockpit cover would make a huge difference in the amount of usable space. There is also the question of what kind of cruising: Hopping from town to town in the Chesapeake, or rarely going ashore? The cockpit is, of course, extremely spacious for two people.
