It could be done, but I think it would be pretty hard to find a modern product that can be applied properly during the time window. There are ways (e.g. using the trailer jack, cinder blocks, and wood) to do it safely on a trailer, while still getting the bottom. While I did this once in the photo you posted, it is a little risky, and I never did it again.
