Rodney: What year is your boat, how many sails, have you seen the keel out of water, & is it the original mahogany rudder? Any pictures? Thanks! HGR On Dec 23, 2008, at 1:13 PM, Rodney Holland wrote:
I will be moving to an area where trailer sailing is the only option and I don't want to trailer, so I'm selling this Monty I've only had 10 months. I've had it docked at my boathouse in freshwater on Lake Livingston for about 8 months. Sails are old, comes with a great 5hp Yamaha outboard, and is a beautiful boat! I bought from a boatyard owner friend who'd taken it on trade on a large boat, faired and painted the hull just one year ago. It's a beautiful deep royal blue. I've also done a first rate job of wooding down and finishing all brightwork with 8 coats of Epiphanes varnish. The boat is amazing looking for it's age. I basically rebuilt the trailer last year as well. Posting here first before I try other methods, because I know what a following this type boat has. The boat is near Houston, TX
