Cool, Minney's is an institution in Orange County, selling all sorts of used yachting equipment from fasteners, to rope, anchors, and used sails as well as used boats. Glad you were able to get the parts you needed! Jim On Mon, Aug 2, 2021 at 6:18 PM Dave Scobie <scoobscobie@gmail.com> wrote:

Found a complete Sabot leeboard assembly a Minney's Yacht Surplus in Coda Mesa, CA. They were really helpful, sent many pictures to confirm everything and shipped to me in WA.
I tried two places in San Diego. San Diego Marine Exchange had nothing used and new parts on a 6-8 week backorder.
The second place in San Diego wouldn't work with me at all to exchange email attachments to confirm parts (worried that I was a faker and sending him malware) and also wouldn't ship, accept a credit card or even a check!!??!!
Amazing little out there for the leeboard bracket assembly. Rudder - easy. Leeboard (the wood bit) - easy. Even a full standing and running rig - easy. Found it very weird and frustrating.

After many unknown years and some hunting for missing parts I have M6'8" hull 650 once again sailing!
Friends Stan Susman, Gary H. Oberbeck, Marty Loken and Jerry Montgomery helped out a lot.
Took a three hour shakedown first sail. No surprise and she sails GREAT!
Thanks to Marty for taking and sharing the attached picture!
