That sounds like fun, Bones. Keep us posted. On Wed, 3 Oct 2007 13:17:34 GMT "bownez@juno.com" <bownez@juno.com> writes:
Dear Listers,
I was speaking of the beautiful, massive Lake of the Woods in northern Minnesota and thinking either a week cruise or participating in the annual "Lowisa" regatta would be a tremendous sailing experience. The lake has 65,000 miles of shoreline, 14,582 islands, is 90 miles long and 55 miles wide. Some of the best fishing in the world. See: http://www.lakeofthewoodsmn.com/maps.asp
Larry, our sistership M17's, Corndog and Bonita, need to meet each other and go out and romp... Two older yellow hulled Monty's would have people scratching their eyes to see if they were seeing double!
The Lowisa takes place first week of August, I think this year is the 43rd.
Fun stuff to ponder.
Bones
