Hello everyone. My wife Debbie and I are the proud owners of "Seranita", a beautifully restored 1977 M-17 (tall rig, galley model). We live on a great windy sailing lake (Keystone) just west of Tulsa, Oklahoma. We moved back to Oklahoma to help out with family after having lived aboard a 31 Cape Dory Cutter in Corpus Christie, TX. Although a big change, we've come to love our Montgomery. These are fast, stable and versatile boats - so easy to handle. Keystone is a large Corp lake with great open water and tons of interesting overnight spots with sandy beaches. Our M-17 has been the perfect boat to help us regain our inland water legs. But, it's been a little over two years and now we are hankering to spend more extended time aboard, exploring coastal waters. So, we've made a deal to purchase another lovingly restored Montgomery, the M-23 "Dream Time", from John and Julie Muller. They have done an incredible job with Dream Time (as chronicled by them on this website), and we are beyond excited to be her new owners. We'll be going out to John and Julie's in Bend, Oregon in June to close our deal and begin a summer adventure to Seattle and ports north. We appreciate your website and the great wealth of information provided by all of you owners and lovers of the great Montgomery boats. Seranita will be appearing for sale soon in the classifieds so, if you know someone looking for a perfect M-17, please pass it along. Glad to be in the Montgomery fold. Roger & Debbie Miner
