I have had some problems with boats on trailers as 10' of snow compacted to 4' and dragged the boat down against the rollers, but I think I have learned my lesson. I guess I will go with Bob's optimistic assessment, since he built the boat and has been working with fiberglass for countless (actually just quite a few) years. Thanks to both of you. Only problem I have ever had with cold was when 3 feet of snow slid off the roof and broke a canoe in half. Put it back together still use it.
