I've found the listproc goes quiet around this time of year through March-ish. Folks huddled down for the northern hemisphere winter. Come March-ish folks again start thinking about sailing and begin asking questions and sharing sailing season plans.
The PNW has put on a cool and wet late summer and early fall. Some record and close to record cold overnights caused by unseasonably early 'Arctic plunge' last week and another forecast this upcoming week. My motivation has been to stay in the cabin with the woodstove burning.
