This weekend while aboard Solomon's Recreation Annex, I noticed a yellow-hulled M-15 with the name "Alfie". Could not get to the hull to read the HIN. "Alfie" was stored in a lot on its trailer, but its cover had been shredded by wind and age and the partially open sliding hatch was completely exposed. The boats at the Annex are usually stored by military/DOD personnel not living in the immediate area, and who sometimes seldom visit, and I wanted to try and let the owner know about the shredded cover and open hatch. If the owner's not on the list and anyone out there knows her/him please pass the word. ~ John Tyner M-15 #412 "Chimpanzee" -----Original Message----- From: montgomery_boats-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:montgomery_boats-bounces@mailman.xmission.com]On Behalf Of Bill Lamica Sent: Thursday, September 04, 2008 10:02 AM To: Montgomery Email Forum Subject: M_Boats: Wrong info... Hey solar people, Yesterday I gave the URL of the Solar Supplier in Ukiah, CA that I once used. Well, after playing a bit on their site, I find they are not the same as they used to be. I cannot find any info on Marine or RV. I think it's the same people, but maybe they are after the bigger sales now. I Googled and tried a few places then found Wholesale Solar http://www.wholesalesolar.com/ And in particular a page of PDF's that should be enough to help us get smart about solar power http://www.wholesalesolar.com/information.html And they have a special section for Mobile (RV-Marine) applications. Sorry for the bad link. This one appears to be pretty useful. I began looking because I was curious about the AGM batteries and the controller requirements. I figured since the AGM batteries require a special charger, the controller would be also. It's all there. Bill I'm really leaving town this time. _______________________________________________ http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/montgomery_boats
