Okay, here's my take on #1. A few years ago, I read a survival story about people stranded in a desert who reverted drinking each other's #1. Some actually survived! Some didn't but it wasn't the #1. The author consulted a physician who explained that liquid waste for one person would be waste for another so the "recycling" wasn't doing much good. But, at interest here, is his explanation that the human kidney is very efficient. Certain chemicals will pass through, but urine is sterile. In other words, no bacteria or viruses will be present unless the donor has an infection downstream from the kidneys. So mine goes over the side. On heavier note, I have the M15-standard Thetford 135 and am often amazed at all the nights spent with my nose inches from the disgusting mess contained therein, with no hint of disgusting aroma. I will say no more. Bill Riker M15 - #184 Storm Petrel
