Take a look at the Beneteau First 210 keel mechanism. _http://first210.org/technotes/new-keel-lift/_ (http://first210.org/technotes/new-keel-lift/) Search online - it worked in a similar but greatly improved manner - this may be adaptable. My father and I repaired one of the models you have in the 70's - the man we sold it to ran aground hard and tore the mechanism out of the boat - the Beneteau mechanism is much improved and a MUCH later design! I had a B First 210 once in inventory - LOVED that boat with some moderate misgivings - but generally a great little boat that sailed very well - nice interior. GO LB/GF!
