Hi Bones, Interesting that you are selling your M23. Good luck. I'm sure she will find a new owner. We just began finishing our 2011 M23 this summer. Lots to do. More than we originally thought. You are one of the few that watched the entire saga. We probably won't be doing the traveling with her as originally intended but we'd like to get her finished. We also find ourselves sailing the S17 more and will probably travel with her. sal

Hi, anchored in Quartermaster Harbor. Vashon Island, WA. Gorgeous day and a good place to study some work junk. Here's a pick inside... the brass deal is a 90 degree elbow, then a hose, double clamped and out what looks like the stock through hull... I like the setup. Was just wondering if you guys had a fancy flapper valve or something. .. Pleased to hear pictures worked. How are you able to see them? I can't. It's great to hear from you, Bob! We probably would have never crossed paths if it wasn't for Chuck McCoy. Where are you, Chuck?? Bones. Pictures were taken on Lake Don Pedro. they were taken in August 2006. I belonged to the local sailing club and a member with a Catalina 25 and an avid photographer asked if we could sail together so he could take pictures of Really. We departed Fleming Meadows Marina at 10 am and sailed east to Moccasin Point Marina for lunch and back again. It was 6 pm when we parted. He took a ton of pictures. They can be blown up to unbelievable clarity. Try zooming in. I've never been able to post them because my previous computers couldn't handle the volume. I just purchased a new HP Spectre Computer and when I logged in my pictures showed up in the cloud.

Hull number 316a (yeah - one of two) - has aluminum tubing bonded into deck and hull at the cockpit and sink drains. I am not a plumber - that looks like a garboard drain plug, BUT it probably has a 'tailpiece/hose barb below the deck. If it is a right angle barb it may be able to be routed out the boat above the waterline. Can't tell from here. GO In a message dated 8/10/2016 12:31:53 P.M.
