Hi all, Thanks for the info on Fern Ridge reservoir (near Eugene, OR) from all who responded, and in particular Larry who did meet up with us there with his sweet little M15. He was there Sunday but I got there later than planned and only got launched and to my slip. Tuesday we were out sailing in the afternoon in brisk winds on a warm sunny day. It is a great sailing lake - probably the longest reaches without constant trimming that I've had with my boat since getting it about a year ago! Wednesday was calmer winds - glassy for a while early afternoon - and I got to use the "cruising" jib for only the second time. Richardson county park marina & campground is a very nice facility - friendly staff & clean modern everything for the most part. Sleeping on one's boat in a slip is cheaper than a campsite by $10+ a night with access to all the same amenities (including hot showers). Fern Ridge Reservoir (Oregon) info for sailing later this month?

Hi all, I think there are a couple or more Monty owners here who are familiar with Fern Ridge reservoir just west of Eugene, Oregon? I'm thinking of bringing my M17 "Pajarita" up there for a couple days' sailing later this month. Maybe as soon as before and/or after next weekend, as I need to be in the area on the 12th for sure, and possibly 11th. So if anyone can point me to where to contact for launch, marina, short-term slips/buoys, and best options for those if there are several, I'd much appreciate it! Also any info about how the sailing is this time of year, and, can one sleep on one's boat at anchor or mooring. We have the mast and boom up. Trying to get the Genoa and roller furler rigged right. Husband thought he had it figured out at home, but cannot do it a second time. Unfortunately, he left the manual to the roller furler home. He says there is something that holds the roller furler close to the deck at the bottom. Can anyone send a pdf of a manual. Or a phone number if you just happen to know what we are talking about and,are sitting around sipping mint julips. We can always unrighteousness and call it a learning experience.
