Will it happen? I was so excited when this new album came out...I thought it would be a chance to see them live....small scale....yet no talk of it... Any of you MOntrealers in the know? I am 24, and have been a fan since 15...been on the list since 18. This is definitely the quietest it's been in quite some time....and I would think now, more than ever, would be some talk of shows or other fun stuff. How much would they charge for a live show (not for a ticket but charge to play)? Couldn't we raise the funds to put that together? We asked Stefan about a live show on the Cyboard and what it would cost for a fan exclusive event. He said for $30,000 they'd do it. I was hoping there'd be some generous, rich soul/philanthropist out there who would think nothing of dropping 30 g's on a private MWH party. Unfortunately nobody came forward with an offer. If I was a millionaire it would be a done deal. Now if a 1000 of us put in $30... How many on this list anyway? All I know is I'd be willing to travel to Canada to see the show. It would be great and we'd all get to meet each other. It would make a heck of a documentary to include on an official concert DVD, hint hint. I swear I remember him saying they wouldn't tour anyway because they hate travelling on the road. Anyway, I doubt there are a 1000 people here. But imagine if there were. I'd definitely pay $30 to see the band. Heck, I paid $85 to see Depeche Mode so $30 would be a bargain. But I'm thinking since Ivan is living in BC now, we'd also have to pay for them to have Ivan back in Montreal and have the band rehearse. So yes, if I was a millionaire, I'd pitch in ;) Maybe if we don't expect a concert but ask for a jam session? ;)
