Men Without Hats Cover
If the Hats do play live this summer, what would all of you view as a pretty funky set list for the show? I'm curious. AND, should they stick only with Hats material?? -collin from savannah

Nah, play Hats and other stiff they did. Except maybe for Stephan's group. I never liked the mp3s on that site.
I think it would be so cool if they let the fans decide the entire set list not including their new material. They could have a poll on their website where we pick 15 songs we'd like to hear live and the songs that get picked the most would become the actual set list plus maybe 5 new songs. They should only play Hats material. Song I want to hear live the most? Personally I'd like to see them play material from the beginning as well into the present. I'd say (depending on time constraints, can't forget the new material as well which will most likely dominate the concert): - Eurotheme (opener...which segues into...) - ....In the 21st Century (they must play this one...the full version or an extended jam) - Heaven - Moderne Dansez - Unsatisfaction - Utter Space - O Sole Mio (this song is underrated IMO) - Antarctica - Rhythm of Youth (the song) - The Great Ones Remember (in memory of Allan) - Elosie & I - Sideways (lets see them add heavy synths in addition to the heavy guitars.) - Ban the Game (full version) - I Know their name - Ideas for Walls - Walk on Water - Treblinka (closing song) Encore: - I Like - Safety Dance - I Got the Message - Freeways (closer) As for a cover, how about a really good Lou Reed penned song....like "Venus in Furs." Could you imagine going to a concert and hearing Ivan singing "Shiny shiny, Shiny boots of leather, Whiplash girlchild in the dark, Comes in bells, Your servant don't forsake him, Strike dear mistress and cure his heart..." ;-) (was gonna suggest "All Tommorrow's Parties" but I don't think even Ivan could get his voice as low as Nico's baritone on that song.)
