Did they say anything about the melody (bass-line) from 'Rent', which is exactly like 'Behind the Mask' by Yellow Magic Orchestra?
No but they (Chris) did say that basslines aren't copyrightable. I wasn't sure if he meant it as a joke or not. I love Rent but I always thought how original the song sounded! Well, I guess I was wrong!
