Hey there all you MWH fans! I'm new here and would like to introduce myself. I'm 35, male, born in NY, went to college in Miami, FL and now live in Austin, TX. I was a huge MWH fan in the 80's and still am. I caught them live once at Hofstra University on Long Island and was front row, center. It was awesome! I still have my Rhythm of Youth concert ragtop and ticket stubs as well as an autograpghed Xmas card from the men. In my record collection I have every album and 12" Single released. What I'm really looking for is some live shows. I have heard of the ROY and FREEWAYS live shows. I would love to trade some CDR's with you if you have these shows to trade. I have the BBC Rock Hour #442 on vinyl that I could transfer to CDR and I also have an awesome live show from '83 from a radio broadcast live on WLIR FM, NY from the Roseland Ballroom. This CDR is a transfer from cassette tape but is of outstanding quality as it's first generation. I taped the show myself off the radio and now that I finally have a CD burner I am able to offer it to you in trade. If you have the ROY or FREEWAYS concerts on CDR and want to trade please let me know. I would be thrilled to hear from any of you MWH fans out there. Hello Everyone..... I am not exactly new to this list. I have been on and off since around 1990. In the past 2 years, I have moved twice and switched e-mail addresses 3 times. I think I will hold onto this e-mail address for a while so I have decided to rejoin the list. Oh yeah, my name is Tom Norman, by the way. And I have lost many of your e-mail addresses. I'm in the process of cleaning out my CD collection, and instead of trading these discs in for credit at my local CD store, I thought I'd give my fellow synthpop fans a crack at them first. These prices include postage/handling within the US. Rational Youth - "Cold War Night Life" - $10 Rational Youth - "Everything Is Vapour" (CD single) - $5 Rational Youth - "To The Goddess Electricity" - $10 Rational Youth - Boxset (5 CD singles) - $20 All the CDs and inserts are in great shape. (The slimline jewel case for the "Everything" CD single is pretty cracked, but the contents are just fine.) They've only been listened to twice. I've been on severely-delayed lurking mode for quite a while (I just read about a years' worth of messages last night). Well, I've got a new system at home, my subscription is moved over, and I'm back being actively hatless once more. I've found my new personal theme song - Gravity Is My Enemy. I took up mountain biking about 16 months ago, and I've fallen LOTS. Including once in November when I broke my collarbone. Fortunately I was not a "Man Without Hat" that day (my helmet was firmly in place - and I broke it too). I find lots of MWH songs running through my head while riding. The rhythm is great to pedal to. Anyway, hope everyone out there is doing well. Looking forward to some new MWH in 2002! Brad Hull
