[math-fun] San Jose Math Semicircle
A couple of years ago Julian and I showed some animations to the San Jose Math Circle. gosper.org/semizoom.gif <http://gosper.org/decazoom.gif> gives a Mnatsakanianian picture of why the area of a circle is the radius times half the circumference, defines π, and displays the beginning of its continued fraction. --rwg
Gmail pulled a fast one. It shows me the URL gosper.org/semizoom.gif but when you click, it gives you gosper.org/decazoom.gif ! --rwg On Thu, Jun 12, 2014 at 1:14 AM, Bill Gosper <billgosper@gmail.com> wrote:
