[math-fun] In search for Ron Mayer
For many years I tried to find out how to contact Ron Mayer, he apparently had the emails address mayer@acuson.com (long invalid). As some of the readers on this list are a few semesters older than me, I dare to ask: does anyone have a clue who he is (how to contact him)? Background: Ron wrote some _very_ fine code for the fast Hartley transform, which I (years ago) polished quite a bit. I'd like to say "thanks" to him, and I bugs me I can't. Best, jj
I have a friend who worked at Acuson, and he has a "Ron Mayer" as a connection on LinkedIn. This Ron Mayer worked at Acuson as a "Firmware Engineer" in the early 1990's and is now the CTO at Forensic Logic. (He's listed under http://www.forensiclogic.com/management/ ). I think it is more than likely this is the same guy. I'd guess you can contact him through Forensic Logic. If that doesn't work, and if you want, I can ask Chris to connect you to him through LinkedIn (this would be the first time I'll actually *use* LinkedIn, other than to "accept" connection requests from co-workers and old students and friends). Hope this is somewhat helpful... On 2014-04-24 10:02, Joerg Arndt wrote:
